Big Jack's ideas on changes to golf

We had an i-pod thing and docking station going a couple of weeks ago from the buggy with Xmas tunes during the annual Christmas scramble
Plus the buggy's were decorated, bars on the course, fancy dress etc

At the right time/place it doesn't have to mean the game has been lost & I doubt the original quote suggested music during serious comps etc

I'll go for Old 

We'd have to entertain ourselves for the four hour round so all the albums on a loop would be better. 🤘🏻 I reckon groups in front would be happy to let us thru, personally I'd would wave them on and let them suffer the whole 4 hrs. 😂

I've played over in the States a few times and it seems to be relatively common, at least in the groups I've played with. It's only really been audible in or near the buggy and certainly hasn't been distracting.

I've actually quite enjoyed it in bounce games but wouldn't necessarily be keen to see (or hear!) it during competitions.

Yes from me. As long as it's not Phil Collins or Genesis.

Seriously though, sometimes I think some of these people open their mouths just because they think it is expected of them. There is no place for blaring music on a golf course. Quite simply, that is not what golf is about.

there's hardly anywhere you can go these days without being inundated with noise. The golf course is one of the last few places. Lets keep it that way.
