Jimmy Shanks has had a heart bypass and if he doesn't take his medication he will die thus following his doctors orders makes him a better golfer .... is he a cheat. I don't think your average golfer prescribed betas is gonna set the heather on fire.

Life is full of grey areas and if you treat them the same a thick rough and KEEP OUT OF IT .. you will get on fine.

When you want time off work, school, jury duty etc a letter from your doctor to say that you are sick and cannot attend will sufice.

So in my opinion, we are all different and have our own personal s#it to deal with, so if it's all above board and legal in the criminal sense of the word then let the guy play. It's bad enough he has to worry about hitting the ball!!!

I think that if a medical condition requires banned drugs just to help someone have a decent game of golf it should be overlooked. I have MS but dont take anything in case I want to enter a decent comp just in case some officious git is waiting to pounce should I be lucky enough to win.lol.
Im waiting for the miricle drug so I can become a 6 h/c player again lol it will probably be banned too!

there's a lot said about how bananas provide instant energy etc. I think it qualifies as an urban myth.

I suffer from migraine and it was recommended that I keep one handy to stave off an attack - never worked. yes a banana will give you a quicker energy boost than a cereal bar but it still takes too long to digest. liquid form is quicker.
