best shot in golf

Nothing beats holing a pressure putt from 4,6 or 8 feet. There might be a few quid on the game, you might be playing against somebody who gets on your wick or you might just have a good score going. Whatever the situation, it's great to see the little ball drop in.

Totally agree mate, You've hit the nail on the head. I know a few players off very low handycap that are great in a straight line but give them something that they would never practise at the range and they are flumoxed. Sometimes you just have to think outside the box.

This sunday i played what is probably the best shot i've ever played. Was playing in the start of season texas scramble, the 14th we took a drive which left us with 185 yards to the pin, river in front of and right of the green. all my playing partners hit theirs first, closest was off the green with a tough pitch.

The wind was left to right and theres a big tree on the left just before the green, blocking the path to the flag.

so i thought, aim straight at the flag with a 4 iron, slight draw,it was as sweet a strike as anything and flew exactly how i intended it to. Pitched, jumped forward 6 feet, then died a foot from the flag.
