Following on from another thread I thought this could be fun. Any sport. Not the anchor or presenter but pundit.

Butch Harmon

Aggers (okay, he is a commentator but he performs both roles and is so good that I am throwing him in)

Brian Moore

Michael Johnson

Cricket: Most of the Sky Sports cricket lot. Special mentions to Nassar and Kumar for insight.

Football: Can't think of a stand-out TBH

Golf: Butch maybe. Rest are OK.

Football - Michael Stewart
Cricket - Atherton
NFL - Mike Carlson
Golf - Alliss
Curling - Rhona Martin
Skiing - Martin Bell
F1 - Brundle
Cycling - Gary Richardson (not strictly a pundit, still the best at cycling)

In football: Gary Neville, Jermaine Jenas, Frank Lampard (not doing it now since he's in management).

Golf: I quite like Butch but he does repeat himself a 'heck' of a lot.

Alliss? Really. May be 20 years ago, but not now.

Probably not a lot of athletics fans on here, but Michael Johnson is a brilliant pundit. It surprises me that BBC hires him as opposed to one of the American broadcasters

Football - I have to as much as it pains me admit I like Gary Neville

NFL - Mike Carson
F1- Brundle
Golf - I do like watching Butch the man's a legend, also Laura Davies.

Don't tend to watch many other sports except tennis and when the pundits come on I turn off..

Football - only really like Chris Sutton , there rest are annoying

Cricket - the whole TMS team , Nasser , Bumble and Trescothick

Golf - Howell , Azinger , Grady , Cotter , Laura Davies , Ken Brown

Rugby - all pretty good

Tennis - the BBC team are very good

I've known Mike Carlson for too many years so have to include him.
Cricket - Johnathan Agnew.
Soccer- don't watch it.
Tennis - John McEnroe is superb.
F1 - Martin Brundle is light years ahead of everyone else in sport.
Golf - Butch Harmon, everyone else apart from Alliss is tied for 2nd.

Sutton is a great pundit, says it how he sees it, and doesn't suffer fools.
You have to be kidding me. Sutton is a tosser of the highest order who talks out of his backside in an endless quest to stay relevant by saying anything that might be controversial. The man is an idiot.

footy ..... far to many to mention ,they all grate on me .
golf Butch is the man ,
cricket ....there is only one bumble
tennis ...has to be super brat mcenroe.
nfl .....it was the legend that was Kevin Cadle ,sadly not with us any more ,who now ,?who cares.
f1 Brundle is top man ,but i do like ted and his notebook.

Be careful now - everyone has a different opinion

I find Sutton to be very good - he doesn’t suffer fools , doesn’t show any ounce of bias , just tells it how it is and doesn’t care if people don’t like it - he has conviction in his opinion. The Sunday club with him is very good.

He doesn't tell it anything close to 'how it is'. Maybe how it is in his arrogant and attention-hungry brain.
