Hello, I was wondering what is most popular app/website to find golf buddy? I went to section on this forum but it does not seem to active.

It's pretty active, although January is a quiet month, especially as the weather has been awful! It might also be that no one is about when you wanted to play.

I hope you got some useful information on your earlier request for information about courses to play. I'm sure more games will be posted on here as the weather picks up.

Where are you based buddy? I'd say Facebook is a good place to start if you're on there - there's usually a few groups that cover most areas.

I only started playing a year ago and have found my local club the best place to be introduced to golfers of a similar standard.

If you have joined a club but don't know anyone, have a word in the pro shop, they might suggest some folk in the same boat.

Or you could put a "partner wanted" note up in the locker room.

I don't understand why clubs are not more proactive in integrating new members.

Surely exactly what rollups are for? Well they are at my place. And we have occasional new member evenings and comps.
