Best looking irons ??.......post your votes guys....

Dodger: Well of course we cant all be such a pure ball striker as someone as skilled as you, and most of us are, as you say, too stupid the realise the enourmous talent required to do justice to these undoubtably beautiful clubs,.....

but humour us, for we know not what we do.

Best of it is though half the folk on here actually think that the shiny good looking clubs are the ones for them when in reality they couldny hit them in a month of Sundays...

I'll hold my hand up to that one...... ;)

Might have learned the lesson now though, it's only taken me six years to realise I can't hit a better club consistenlty. :D

Back to a set of game improvement jobbies at the moment, but we can all dream can't we :D

I actually think that if someone is serious about improving their ball-striking, a 'players type' club can help, as you clearly know when you've hit the sweet spot.

For example, I used Zing2's for 12yrs, probably one of the most 'forgiving' clubs ever made.
Changed to AP2's a year ago, and came down to 9.

Go figure.

The OP wasn't about which were the best to hit as I recall it was about which one's were lush. I can drool over a Ferrari but I'll never drive one, and I'll never get to take Cheryl Cole for a spin either but I can give her a hell of a looking at as well. We all need a bit of eye candy from time to time don't we? :)

I just ordered the Titleist MB Irons, fell in love with them the second i seen them...thank god i can hit them well. Just got a call from Titleist to say they will be delayed by 2 weeks as they received a batch of duff project x shafts that failed their quality control....aggghhhhhh

oh and for the record, this muppet hit the MB's far far better than the AP2'S during my fitting session. Just goes to show you eh!! :D

Keep a picture by the bed Largs, they'll be here soon.

Well I hope so.......nothing worse than waitin for your new Irons, especially when you just sold your old ones...

maybe dodger was right after all, I AM a muppet..haha

Largs I'm saying that an awful lot of guys who do not have the handicap therefore the talent to hit butter knives use these sticks, looking at your profile I would hazard a guess that you are in with a good chance of achieving this.

Guys the cobra s2 forged are the fittest irons around. :)

Dodger i'm just surprised your a bit grumpy today...with that great result for you guys earlier..haha.

No i know exactly what you mean, I was brought up with blades and played around 15 rounds last year due to having to watch my wee boy most days...still managed to get my handicap from 8-4.....the guy in the bay next to me at world of golf couldnt hit the 100 yard marker with a 6 iron and walked out the shop with the new mizuno mp68 irons...oh how i chuckled.

If I thought I stood an earthly chance of doing those 68's any justice, they would be winging their way to me today. They have got to be the sexiest looking clubs for sale at the moment.
I am still waiting for the improvement my game improvement MX200's are going to give me...

Time of the month is it Dodger all these pretty things making you feel ugly

Are you trying to say what I am saying is incorrect?? :D

Just that it was as if you were more offended than you should be

Eh?Care to break that down into something I can follow? :D

Your outburst about not being able to use them was not justified as the OP had nothing to do with the best club you can use etc - it reminded me of a 40 women with PMT crying because all the 18yr old hotties are prettier than her
