Best looking irons ??.......post your votes guys....

Time of the month is it Dodger all these pretty things making you feel ugly

Are you trying to say what I am saying is incorrect?? :D

Just that it was as if you were more offended than you should be

Eh?Care to break that down into something I can follow? :D

Your outburst about not being able to use them was not justified as the OP had nothing to do with the best club you can use etc - it reminded me of a 40 women with PMT crying because all the 18yr old hotties are prettier than her

It wasn't an outburst,I was stating fact....

Ohhhhhhh, calm down calm down.

I just ordered the Titleist MB Irons, fell in love with them the second i seen them...thank god i can hit them well. Just got a call from Titleist to say they will be delayed by 2 weeks as they received a batch of duff project x shafts that failed their quality control....aggghhhhhh

oh and for the record, this muppet hit the MB's far far better than the AP2'S during my fitting session. Just goes to show you eh!! :D

I had 690 mb's but felt that I lost a chunk of yardage with them are the new ones the same loft as the old?

Guys the cobra s2 forged are the fittest irons around. :)

That's not pretty... that's TERMINATOR!! :D

Dodgers correct in what he said about some of the guys on here with delusions of grandeur about the clubs they play and i was nearly one of them, went to get get fitted for a set of Mizuno's fancied the MP62'S or 68's went on the monitor and found i couldn't hit them in a millions years but walked out the door with a set of MP52'S bit of a difference from what i wanted.

I have no idea mate, I have never been into titleist until i decided to go for a fitting. They looked absolutely fantastic at address. I was sure that the AP2'S would be the ones for me as I have been playing with T/m's tour preferred for the last season. I have been playing with blades most of my life and always feel really confident with them. Cant wait to get them in the bag, ended up getting everything from Titleist!!!!!

P.s for the record I actually agree with Dodger, far to many guys buy just for looks alone, I had a guy who bought my mizuno blades off me and he was off 28....I tried to tell him they wouldnt really work for him but he was desperate for them as they were "really shiny and cool"...To be the fair the same guy sold them on e-bay a month later, did he learn his lesson, NO, he walked into American golf discount and bought a set straight off the shelf. Idiot!!!!!

Yeh the new ones do look peachy :)

I hit anything that the launch monitor tells me is right. I'd hit a brick on a stick if I played better with it. My first ever set was a set of Ram tour grind blades and they were fantastic so it's really a case of if you like them and can hit them then go for it. I don't think ego is involved in club selection is it? Plenty of low handicappers use cavity/progressive sets nowadays. My current clubs are more like the brick :)

Which shaft did you choose?

I was fitted with the project x 5.5 shafts, I felt the 6.0 which was in the tp's was just to stiff for me. Just heard that the last batch of px's received by titleist were binned due to them failing quality control. which has resulted in a 2 week delay. They did offer s300's instead.....but why would I do that when i spent an hour hitting different with shafts so i would find the right ones?

Dodgers correct in some of us not being able to use these clubs to their full potential. But that wasn't the question.

I wouldn't dream of forking out for the MP68's, but I do like the look of them. My current clubs aren't going to win any beauty contests.

I'm almost certain that us "muppets" do realise that we couldn't play with these things very well. But we weren't asked that in the op.

The MP68's are the most gorgeous clubs on the shelf today. I tried them on the monitor a couple of weeks ago and hit them really well but opted for the 62's as I don't think I could hit consistently from the different lies encountered during a round and the small amount of forgiveness can only help.
