Best ever purchase...

Mine is deffo the Mizuno TP11 blades that I got when I played off 15 years ago. The pro told me to get them and whilst a bit dubious at first on my second outing I parred the course. I got down to single figures with them and started a passion for Mizuno clubs which I still have to this day.

My fybrid 3h 21 degree, only had it a short while, but still have yet to hit a bad shot with it

I feel the same way about mine, almost :)

Have you not topped it off a tight lie or pulled it into the bunker? You must be good.

Was a serial putter swapper for ages until I bought my Yes! Tracy II.

Might seem silly to say that it made me a better putter but it certainly gave me more confidence on the greens. I am at the stage with it where I am surprised to miss from inside 6feet.

Only one option here for me, my Odyssey Sabertooth without a shadow of a doubt!

Took a few weeks to get used to the insert for power etc but it is without doubt the part of my game that has improved the most.

Why is chipping seen as difficult? :D
Weight on left side, hands ahead of the ball and don't break the wrists - that's it really.

Because I didn't know that

I had weight on right side trying to scoop the ball into the air. With the expected results of the occasional good one and a whole load of thinned and fatted chips.

Now I do as above :D

It's the loft on the club not you that gets the ball in the air....trust the loft

My longest serving piece of kit is probably my DryJoys, had them over 3 years now and there still going strong . . . .best club, i'd have to say my odyssey 2 ball putter. I can never see myself using anything else.

I would say my TM 200 Steel 3-wood with rifle shaft. I've had it for years. Tried various other 3-woods over time, but have always gone back to this one.

Dont laugh but my best purchase has been my rescue club which I bought from Lidl for the princely sum of £15.99. It is the most consistent performing club in my bag and the one that I always feel confident of hitting a good shot with.

It has got to be my itsy bitsy putter, ive always struggled on the greens but now i feel i can hole anything(famous last words),shame its so ugly.

Sponge I have a slight worry.
It sounds as if you like the club which is great, but....what would happen if the head isn't glued on properly and it flies off into the Sea. (Which is possible from Llidls)
If you can, take the head off and glue it in properly or ask your local pro to do it for you.
That way you will enjoy many happy years with it.

I would say my best purchase was the the teaching software i have used over the years, it makes practicing much more productive. I like that i can hit a few shots or try a new drill on camera, review it and then decide if its working or making things worse. I keep a catalogue of all the videos of my game and practice drills over the years which makes it easier to sort my own game when things go wrong. There are a lot of great products available on the market but software that allows you to see what you are actually doing is my best purchase.
