best course youve ever played?

Now that is a difficult one having played now for over 20 years.
One course that always springs to mind though is Royal Dornoch which I played about 10 years ago.

I played The Spey in Avimore last year though, a new course which has A LOT of potential

Have to agree with taggart mine is without question Royal Dornoch. It was just breathtaking it was like there was an aura about the course.

Turnberry - Ailsa Course.

Was lucky a few years ago as the company I worked for had corporate membership and we just had to use it to entertain clients. :) :)

For condition............San Lorenzo- Algarve.

For setting............. Raffles/Trump Course, - Canouan Isle, Grenadines.

And like Bob says, I'd also rate Forest Pines above the Belfry too.
20mins from me :D

K Club for presentation and quality of greens.

Local course call Headford-new course for variety of great holes (could remember 15 holes after having played it just once).

I would say Carnoustie is the best course ive played. I also like the Belfry I've played there a few times. But the one course I want to play is Kingsbarns it looks fantastic.

Aye up there as one of the best '17' holes I ever did play also! ;)

Aye mind i reckon we should have dodged the bullet and just played the first ;)

Nicklaus North, Whistler, Canada - The course, scenery and challenge were just superb. Had my eldest with me driving the buggy and the camcorder was in overdrive after he spotted a couple of black bears roaming the fairways.
