Hi All
hope you are all well and enjoying your golf

Hubby and I played the Oxfordshire on Monday and really enjoyed ourselves (we only lost 1 ball each), we really liked the course (long but we managed) and it was in great condition, food and hotel was great, the only disappointment we had was the pro shop, not alot of choice and what choice there was, was expensive and no mid round choccy/snack available (the half way hut was closed for the day :( )

Next week we are looking to play somewhere else, a stay over with golf.

We have seen an offer for the Belmont Golf Course in near Hereford and wondered if anyone had played it, if so what is it like, any tips etc or does anyone have any recommendations for a stay and play offer

Many thanks

Have played Belmont a few times, it is a nice course with plenty of good holes. I know they close some of the holes that are by the river (Wye) in the winter. The course is more interesting if these are open.

A nice place to stay and play golf is the Dartmouth Golf and Country Club. The hotel is very good and they have two copurses, the championship course is ver good, rates are competitive as well.

Good Morning from Belmont Lodge Hotel and Golf Course!
We have just reopened our bedrooms after an extensive refurbishment programme as well as refurbishing our restaurant, bar and public areas and would love to see you at Belmont! Member feedback yesterday was that the course is in great condition with fast greens that we don't normally get until the summer.
We have some special offers available at the moment to coincide with our reopening; you can either book direct via telephone by calling 01432 279 739 or alternatively, all our golf breaks are loaded on our website www.belmont-lodge.co.uk
The weather forecast is looking great for this week too!
We look forward to welcoming you to Belmont Lodge Hotel and Golf Course
Kind regards
Mark Suddes, General Manager
