morning all
Neil T and I are just about to leave out Nottingham hotel and head over to the Belfry - good news for me was that have made a lazarus-like recovery on the leg and played 18 at Sherwood Forest (what a course check this pic http://twitpic.com/ec3cd yesterday evening after the reader custom fitting at PING which I am sure canfordhacker will give you a report on in due course
look forward to seeing those who are coming there - updates and reports later
cheers

Glad you recovered in time Mike.

I'm sure you will all enjoy the 2 days hope the weather and golf is good.

Sitting at work, looking at the sun out of the window. Jealous? Me?

Roll on tomorrow, when the rest of us can play.

Glad your leg is holding up Mike. I don't want you to have any excuses when you miss out on the longest drive on Wednesday.

Just had a little look at their course planner, and it all looks a bit tight. Off the yellows, it looks like the driver might be staying in the bag.

Not that keen on the amount of water either. Never been good with water. Bit of a magnet for me.

Never mind, I am playing a last warm up tonight, then reload the bag with new proVs to sacrifice to the water gods, and ready for tomorrow.

Now, orange trousers, or pink?

PGA was very tight with vicious rough so no big scores yesterday (though nearest the pin was won with a hole in one). Now sitting on my balcony overlooking the PGA 18th having a coffee before heading down for the big round today.

Is there much breeze on the course? I know more often than not the 18th plays into the wind so you might need an extra club or two. Have a fantastic day and enjoy the experience.
