Bank holiday weekend weather . . . . . . . . .

All last week I kept an eye on the forecast and was dismayed to see heavy rain, sleet, snow all over the bank holiday.....

As it transpired, i played 9 holes on Thursday evening, 18 holes Friday, 18 holes Saturday and 9 holes yesterday and have not been rained on once, Infact, on Saturday I had to take my sweater off for the front holes !

Metcheck, Metoffice are normally ok but how can they get the forecast so wrong , ??

Its been the same here...
We got out today and sat according to the Met office today was supposed to be a washout....It hasnt rained yet.....Its just as well we payed no attention to it....

Gave up believing the weather men a long while ago. I still check, but they never seem to be able to get it right, especially the timing. Up here in Scotland you can always forecast rain, it's just when it is coming in every three hour window they can't get right .

They couldnt predict night follows day,got 18 in on Sunday so the weekend wasnt a total wash out.

18 holes at St. Andrews yesterday, and 18 today. Courses deserted although wet underfoot but no rain.

Played fri sat sun and today......no bother.

Was dry but bloody windy today so didn't feel too warm. At least it was dry and the course is drying out in most parts
