If I'm not mistaken he was just illustrating a thought process which would draw you the correct outcome for which side of the hazard to drop

I suspect rulefan knows that as well and was being pedantic, as we are not on tour and don't have rules officials and tv watching everything so that you can get the exact spot, where the ball finished is a fairly good point of reference unless the water has a strong current.

Ha ha good point, I was trying to think of a scenario where it may not have finnished behind the point of entry, I guess bouncing of rocks may be all that's left.
