Ball flight laws and how to draw the ball

I tried this on the course yesterday. Tee up my ball, closed the face slightly and went as normal at it. 240 yards nice controlled fade. Tried the other, slight open face, tee the ball up with logo between 6 and 7 oclock to focus impact and encorage an in to out swing, voila hit a draw. Tried to do the same on my iron with some success as well! My only problem now is repeating it a high percentage of the time. Started to focus on it to much, got a major case of the swing thoughts in my head and it all went to pot.

My natural shot with the long/medium irons is a slight draw about 5yrds. Short irons go straight (backspin over rides the side spin). Driver, 3&5 wood slight push fade about 7yrds. So I just set up for driver on the left side of the tee box aim to a landing point on the rightside of the fairway. To finish down the centre or slightly right or left of it. I'm happy with that and reasonable consistent so why muck about with it.

Before anyone says I'm set up on the wrong side of the tee box etc. I'm left handed.
