Do you guys have any drills you do in the back garden?

I can't practise putting as my lawn isn't the flattest.

I have a small garden but often chip into a hoop or upside down umbrella. Also, the air flow balls are pretty good if you feel like hitting some longer shots.

Yeah I seen they airflow balls I'm still worried about putting them five gardens down the road.

Might try pitching into a bucket. I was also looking online to get a square of astro turf to pitch from.

I like to hit full shots into my hedge as it is backed with a wire fence that stops any balls getting through.I just bought 6x4ft of practice mat, fake grass from a football pitch. It will save me divoting up the garden!

Due to the fact that I live quite rural and have a large garden at my disposal I have numerous options for practice. Putting green should be fully ready in late August, if I can stop birds from dropping bloody weed seeds on it!

Hi m8, i am lucky enough to have a garden which is spacious enough to fit a pop-up driving net, and when used with an astroturf mat, you can hit proper golf balls and get great practice. Also, you can chip into a bucket, or umbrella, etc. This is the net i have, really good: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produ...|cat_14419202|Golf+training+aids|14419221.htm
This really helps me practice when i cba to go down the range. :)

I chip off wee bit of carpet and over the seat of the wee one's swing. Aiming between the ropes is a good test of a straight flight. Need to get a practice net to catch the balls on the other side...my bucket just doesnt cut it

I putt with my V-Easy on the living room carpet, my old flat broke left to right from the kitchen door to the TV. I would spend HOURS putting to a 2p or 5p coin from 4-10 feet. I would keep my head down and listen for the "ting" as the ball hits the coin, seeing how many "Tings" in a row I could get (record is 7 from ~8 feet and 15 from 4 feet IIRC).

I practice by chipping the ball over my daughters paddling pool and in to the wife's hanging basket. I also open the side door of my garage and hit full shot from my lawn through the door which is approx 20 yards away. I use a callaway orange foam ball which feels solid off the club and will go bout 100 yards if need be. I have also a 2 metre square piece of carpet stuck to a board I use as a practice mat even have lines drawn on it and rubber tees I can swap to hit different woods etc hit balls in to a sheet attached to washing line.

This has given me some decent ideas.

I'm a fifer who hates to part with cash so carpet and bucket is right up my street. Doubt I'll get the courage to tee up a big club in the garden.
