• Thank you all very much for sharing your time with us in 2025. We hope you all have a safe and happy 2026!

Back! What a fantastic week......

that course would put some championship venues here to shame, looks beautiful and in immaculate condition

Glad you had a superb time.... pics of the course look awesome (wish my course looked like them!)

Not sure I could justify the cost though.... it's almost the same as my annual membership.

Welcome back Smifster. Glad you had a good time even though your golf game was jet lagged. A lot of our guys at Ascot are going to Turkey and rate it so they are running a big trip over next year. Your reviews have whetted the appetite immensly

But no more than an "average" family holiday for a week James.
After telling Sam how good the Voyage Hotel was, she has suggested going back there next year, just the two of us, for an "all inclusive" weeks holiday, no golf involved.
Looking around different websites, we can get a week out there, including flights, for just over £1750.00 between us. That's £875.00 each for an all inclusive holiday. We had 10 nights all inclusive in Crete a couple of years ago, it was cheaper at just under £600.00 each. Seemed like a bargain, but the hotel, and food, were crap. We must have spent another £300.00 each (at least) going out eating and drinking elsewhere because it was so bad. So the Voyage Hotel (which I will say again was fantastic ) would actually work out cheaper!
Now my golf holiday cost me just over £1,000.00 all in. So it's cost me say £150.00 more to play 5 of the best golf courses I've ever played, which works out at £30.00 per round including buggies!
Yes, £1k is a lot of money. But it was a hell of a lot of holiday mate. And with a group of 16 going, the amount of drink and food we consumed must have cost all of that alone!

You've gone and spoilt it now, Smiffy. 12 of us have been to Belek late March/early April for the last 3 years. Everything you say about the place is absolutely true but the more you say it the more the price will go up and the more crowded the courses will become - you could have kept it a secret. Everything you say about the hotels and the courses is spot on. This year we stayed at the Cornelia de Luxe and played the Faldo twice, the National and the Tat (horrible name but a top course). Like your group found, scoring was not easy - out of 4 rounds by 12 people, there were only 5 scores topping 30 points, and then only just.

Do you remember suggesting you didn't want to be a woose by riding in a buggy? Told you.

I could never imagine playing the Faldo courses without one. Some of the walks from green to tee would be like a route march. Buggies were reasonably priced and will be definitely on the "menu" again next year.

Rob, further to our chat, we both have the thumbs up (oo er Mrs)
As some as you have more info let me know ;-)

Will do Dave. Have put both yours and Mikes names forward to Danny, and he has promised to keep me updated on the situation. Looks like there will be 24 of us next year......
Hopefully going to secure the same hotel and courses.

Whoohooo!
Got the provisional itinerary through already for next year.
Same hotel, same courses.....but playing 27 holes at the Faldo complex instead of the 18 we played this year. 3x9 hole loops, idea is that we can have a 9 hole "warm up" team event on the first day before the competition starts proper!
And it's only gone up £67.00!
