I popped in there today just to 'enquire' about the new Cobra SZ irons and before i could blink , the bloke behind the counter had handed me a bucket of balls , a steel shafted and a graphite shafted 6 SZ iron and said 'There you go mate , give them a try' .
And then i just had to try the Wilson Di9's as well....well , it would have been rude not to !!!

Hey NomadPaul,

I quite like the look of the SZ's also. How did you get on with them?

Rob2.
Hi Rob , they felt quite good . They sat lovely behind the ball and even when i hit a couple of 'toers' whilst getting used to them , the ball stll carried some distance without too much 'shock' coming from the head into my hands . The first half of the balls i hit went really well and i actually seemed to hit the graphite shafted club better.....i would think i'd need an extended session before making a true assessment .

The young lad from the shop came out to help me with the Wilsons and to show me the different club specs and i hit a variety of shafts and set ups....but after a few cracking 7 irons , hit purer and sweeter than i have ever possibly hit an iron , and with an audience , my swing deserted me . I even went back to the 2 cobra's and but that just started a wicked slice......every shot !!! Think the pressure got to me :)

I'm definitely going next week as i'd really like to know how my swing is judged by the experts .
