Started bogey, quadruple, birdie, par, double, par, triple, double!!!!!!!

End of my tether, don't know why I bother, jacking it in, clubs on eBay..........

Bollox, match on Saturday afternoon. It was onlycrap golf, not the world's end!

I'm glad its not just me.........I threw in Double, Triple Triple in succession on Saturday, but finished with a Nett 74, 5 over etc,........probably the worst 3 holes i've put together for years !

Finished the round with 4 straight Pars, to lighten my day and bring me back again !

These are the two requisites for big accidents. I had a 10 in the medal on Saturday.

Playing The Downshire tomorrow in a society. 9 hole Texas in the morning. A good opportunity to hit some eye balls out stuff, and not give a monkeys where it ends up. Just what I need before the foursomes and greensomes at the weekend.

Last comp I played I finished with an 11, my second worst competitive score on a golf hole ever, I was on the green in 4 shots too, one of the many missed putts lipped out fast and hit my shoe for a 2 shot penalty which was a new one on me! I had a 9 earlier in the round too. I haven't played since but I still quite enjoyed it...honestly. Round was reductions only due to the gale fortunately.
I can only scramble and hope my short game is good, unable to hit a ball properly due to ropey shoulder so just looking on the odd game as some exercise presently until my frozen shoulder injury goes away (20 months and counting) properly.

I have joined a new club recently and have been assigned my old 4 handicap but am currently playing to about 24! Some of the members have questioned my ability, rightly so, but I'll show 'em......maybe

Golf is fun when there is no pressure.

Granted I hate the course and it is tricky but.

Did have a run of Treble, Treble, Treble too.

Hit 4 OB but only lost 1 ball.

only up .1 as the afternoon was NQ. Guess I should count myself lucky!!

Is that the Downshire near Wokingham. Plenty of room to spray it on a lot of holes and biggish greens so you should be fine

Joined Duns Dave, I'm finding it harder than it looks! Borders/Northumberland clubs have a great deal with other clubs in the area, I can get on everywhere from Goswick up to Peebles for very cheap.
