Atlantic Hurricane Season is upon us...

I know there's one or two on here that are quite keen on weather and other such related stuff. Been watching Hurricane Ana and Bill develop over the last couple of days and the season looks like it's starting as of now!

It all affects us golfers as each system normally gets dragged back across the northern atlantic and onto our shores as weaker storms.

Look at the map below though. Bill is the bigger storm in the middle of the atlantic. Look to the west coast of africa... there's a couple of monsters there that could develop into something alltogether more powerful!!!

Time will tell, but i'd say pack the waterproofs for golf next weekend and into next week!

Yes the season's on us again. Look forward to the same old newsreels of palm trees bending, sheets of corrugated iron flying through the air, pleasure boats washed up on the shore, etc. etc.

I'm sure the camera crews just play the old films from long ago and put their feet up in some hotel miles away.

looks like bermuda is going to take the brunt of this one so maybe we'll see some new footage
