arrange a game sticky calendar

Prompted by the inter-services thread;
anyone amongst the cognoscenti know how to create an 'active' calendar (on the lines of the map) that can be set as a sticky (Ok Mike?).
with the number of 'majors' in prospect, avoiding a clash is getting tricky.

Good idea as there seems to be a lot going on this year. A sticky thread might become a bit messy, cluttered etc. I can do something in google that anyone will be able to view / amend. I'll knock something up and post a link to it.

If someone (colint!) makes up a spreadsheet in google, im sure we could sort something out. we could clean out the thread every so often and commit dates to the calendar.
