Are you percentage or a risk taker?

If the risky shot suits my eye and I feel theres a good chance of getting clean contact then go for it. If its a dodgy lie and contact is going to be iffy then play safe. As you can tell its all about the lie for me , but generally i'm a go for it type of guy

Depends on the risk.... 225yds over water to a front flag?.... play long for the middle of the green.

240 and it's probably a lay up.

hate the percentage shot

Risk all the way. FFS there is a target to aim for that's why there's a flag. Life's too short for playing safe. Hollywood or bust!!!!

If things are clicking Definately a risk taker. On good days my tee game driver/hybrids can be a major strong game, cutting corners or moving ghe ball around for easier an easier second is very common in my game, but on a bad day no such risks taken

I tend to be a percentage player more now than I used to be, mostly from experience. I found that over time the percentage plays were saving shots and winning matches more than the risky ones and that's what counts isn't it? I will go for risky shots if in a match or a 4BBB and the situation requires or allows it but not in a medal if I am serious about making a score.

I'm a handicap golfer and the strokes are there for a reason. There's no need to force anything. It is fun to pull off a great shot but there's also something satisfying about thinking your way round and grinding out a score.

The best golf I've ever seen, whether thats pro, amateur, or even my best hacks, have all been 'easy' golf.

Not stupid risktaking, or fantastic recoveries. Neither boring lay ups.

Just good tee shots, followed by decent approaches, followed by a putt or two.

JustOne still doesn't realise how good his 67 was this summer because he didn't play spectacular golf. What he did was play all his shots in that 90% of perfect zone.

Golf the way it should be played.

:D
