Are you a potential bandit with a huge difference between your best score and your average score?

Do these two simple calculations and let us compare ourselves.

I’m not trying to prove a point I merely thought this might stimulate some amusing comments.

Potential Bandit Rating = Handicap Index minus Best Differential

And

Inconsistency Rating = 8th Best Differential minus Best Differential

Me:

PBR = (3.0 – 1.9) = 1.1

IR = (5.2 – 1.9) = 3.3

PBR =(8.1 - 3.9) = 4.2
IR = ( 10.5 - 3.9) = 6.6

I'm definitely in "Bandit" territory..
I can go several rounds of dross, upping the HI all the time, and then throw in a low one.
I shouldn't really be getting 10 shots around our place....but the system...:whistle:;)

Certainly used to be. I played once a week and so anything could happen. Off 18 I could score over 100 or under 80 (79 my best) and I was never sure which would happen.

PBR = (18.1 - 12.3) = 5.8

IR = (21.5 - 12.3) = 9.2

The 12.3 was to win a society do round West Hill on Tuesday, with 43 points… so deffo bandit territory. Before that round I think my PBR would have been 19.2 - 17.4 = 1.8

All but one of my scores are in the low 90's but I'm back to hitting quite well and could easily pop in a score of sub 80

I've won 2 board comps recently with little effect on my HI

As I am being soft capped(low index 6.6, whs 10.3), my bandit rating is poor

PBR = (10.3 – 8.1) = 2.2

IR = (13.5 – 8.1) = 5.4

Putting/chipping index 54

PBR … 7.1 -1.9=5.2
IR …. 10.6-1.9 = 8.7

More likely to hit 19 over at the minute than the 3 over that was the 1.9

PBR = 10.0-5.8 = 4.2
IR = 13.0-5.8 = 7.2

New swing and thinking remain Work in Progress.

I suppose I am in bandit territory. Indeed I did a gross 2 over off back tees in our rollup a couple of weeks back but it was a non-qualifier so no club H/I cut but rolllup handicap index cut to 8.4.
