Approach/chip shots setup advice

Can anyone advise on a basic setup (stance/swing) for chip shots from 100yds to edge of green. I'm getting here in 1 or 2 stroke (on longer holes) then b*llsing it all up with thinned shots shooting through the green, flopped shots falling short etc

What club do you tend to use from that distance?

Rob, have a look at the above and transfer similar techniques up to wedge and a nine iron for longer shots. Then use clock face variations to change your distance.

A three quarter nine iron is spot on for 100 yds for me

Where is the ball in your stance?

How is your weight distributed (Even, front foot etc)?
