To me saying they sell fakes is bad publicity, I guess it would be more from the libel point of veiw

Very tenuously linked, a female collegue recently had a pair of hair straigteners catch fire in her hand.

They were made by 'GHD' apparently one of the better brands and on contacting them she descovered they were fakes.

The GHD website apparently has a section dedicated to fakes and there is a continuously updated list of places that sell fakes, their advise is to check there before buying.

Perhaps it is up to the golf club manufacturers to have sections on their website rather than GM?

my mate had the same with a nintendo ds he bought for his young son. he bought it from amazon, it broke, he sent it back to amazon who then sent it to nintendo and they said they can't fix it because it's fake!

Amazon has a lot of shops that sell through them, I have a clothes shop and they asked us to (there commisions a charges were to high)my point being they do very few checks so may not know what s being sold on there site

it isn't always that they are fakes, it's often because it's grey market gear.
when I got my camera it was from a UK site but when I wanted to register it with Fuji UK it kept getting rejected but didn't say why. eventually I phoned them, and found out that it was a genuine Fuji and after a lot of hassle finally got the point across that it would be perfectly legal for me to buy one on holiday so what was the difference. In the end they did register it.
