Anyone played these tracks in The Algarve?

Have you played Alto before?
I played it last summer and was very disappointed.
Lots of bare patches on the greens and generally in poor nick.
I did get some cracking photo's of Hoopoe (sp) though

yep vig and for those reasons won't go back,it was like that 5 years ago and hasn't improved from what I hear.Penina down the road on the other hand is class and in the last 5 years HAS improved condition wise.Looks loke we are opting for Castro Marim,got a deal for 49e so think we are all sorted golfwise avarage of £45ish a round for the 4.

Quinta De Ria is a fine course--tough if the wind blows as it runs along the med.

Morgado is another fine course as is its sister course Alamos.

If you want to play near Vilamoura play the Old course or Millenium. The Old is a superb course but maybe outside your projected budget.
