Haha. Sounds great!

Thanks Karen. Not sure the wife would stretch to a golf pass and full on shindig after.

Am between there and Southerness, so Stranrear a good shout.

If I'm heading North though....

Portpatrick is a nice course but I'd play Southerness over it. Stranraer is a cracking little track too, you'll enjoy any of them to be honest.

Cheers Stu.

Southerness is closer, so ticks the 'less time away from family box.

Games not up to much at the moment, even by my low standards ?, so just after a bit of a relaxing knock.

Perhaps I need to man up and face Southerness down!!

I played Portpatrick last year as a stop off on my return trip from Arran. I enjoyed playing there. Excellent views off the cliff top
As you might expect, there were strong breezes and showers but good greens and interesting holes.
I would have played Stranraer if they hadn't had a large comp on that afternoon but I was not disappointed that I played Portpatrick.

Lovely part of the country. You won't be disappointed with any of those three courses, my own favourite would be Portpatrrick out of those three. Great fun to play, great views and a welcoming clubhouse, what more could you want.
