After a few weeks of trying, the MP53's arent right for me, lovely club but it's fighting me! so its back to either the MP59 or probably the MP69, beautiful clubs.
anyone own them? pro's and cons?

Have a look at the mp62 very blade like. I can't get on with Cbacks myself. I'. sure if you look around there are good deals to be had on 62's got mine for a bargin at a local pro shop in inverness.

yes I should have bought MP62's at about £200 cheaper than the MP53's I bought (and now lost £££££'s on), however, the MP69 is new and newer tech and very shiny:D 62's are at least 2 years old now plus I can get the 69's customed.

Looks like no-one has them yet here at GM forums:(

so it looks like no-one on GM forums has the MP69, looks like I'll be the first then.
might do a review once I get them if that helps anyone

Shiny 69's on way with x-100 soft stepped.

25 years of regular to X-100 in 1 week, hopefully going to be delighted and pissed I didn't do it years ago.

When you've decided that these don't suit either, let me know and I'll take them off your hands.

Not going to happen, already had 3 hrs on the range with them, beautiful feel.
Trouble before was buying a set based on a 6 iron and an off swing, I was fitted originally for a shaft 40gms lighter:eek:

No disrespect bluewolf but 69's might not be as forgiving as your handicap desires.

Best luck with them.

Don't suppose you got them 1/4 of an inch longer and 2 deg upright? Just in case!

Hope the shaft works out well for you. I've never looked back since I got them in my 68's.

Keep us updated with progress.

Thanks Swinger, I must admit the dispersion on the X stiff is very pleasing, soft stepping will be right in between s300 and x100 hopefully, now I just need to get the swing sorted:eek:

Were you able to try them soft stepped? or were you fitted with the X100 and advised by the fitter that soft stepping would be good for you(cos your a big girl with a slow mo swing)(heheheheh). The question was serious and not just a way to take the michael. Also how were you able to play more than a 6 iron, did someone have a whole set in your stats? Did you trade your 53s when you got the 69s? did they give you much back?

Al

Well, as long as your not being disrespectful eh...:).....Seems odd though, as the 68's worked perfectly well for me the other day...Not to worry, I'll just keep gaming the 800 pros. They seemed to work pretty well today for a 72.....
