I had a discectomy in 2006 , great success, back playing inside 3 months.
Had a further problem in about 2014 which was sorted by 2 weeks bed rest,
I do a few stretches every morning and a few rotational twists, but I find the best exercise is just to walk
?

That's brilliant and good to hear and nothing crazy to keep fit.
I'm having an op in a couple of weeks, suffered with nerve pain on and off for the past 5 years so can't wait to hopefully get fixed

Friend at work had one, she was off for about 3 months she's a spinning instructor on the side and got back to it. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
