Anyone got a Bushnell V3 laser? comments please

Thinking about getting him indoors a laser for Christmas.

Anyone got the V3 who can give me some feedback?
If there are any downsides to it?

I have tried a lot of lasers and this is so simple and so easy to use and the jolt just
seals the deal theres just no doubt you have the flag.
He will love it.

Could I say that i didn't mean that going to a supermarket in misty conditions wasn't great, I meant that the Bushnell wasn't so good in misty conditions, But going to the supermarket in misty conditions is not fun either! Hope I've made that clear

Just got the 'Tour v3 pin seeker+jolt' after my golf buddy went wrong for a second time.

So far loving can still get a yardage to bunkers etc, so does everything I need it too!!

Yes.Very good distance measuring device.No downsides as such, but no good in shakey hands.

I've got the V3, I think Pokerjoke and LiverpoolPhil both used it during various rounds on H4H, it a great bit of kit accurate, the down sides are, struggles a bit against very bright or white back grounds and as ChrisD wrote, in misty conditions it's not good, but then any of the laser DMD's will struggle a bit when the visibility falls.

Had mine over a year, used most rounds and I only just changed the battery, twas £4.99 for a lithium camera battery, not cheap but it should last a good while.

Yeah go for it,bought v3 jolt couple weeks ago to replace a cheaper range finder that ive had for about 4 yrs and the difference is far superior ie.magnified view,brightness and the jolt addition gives you confidence youve got your target.

Not sure of the link between HC and knowing the rules ?

Plenty pros don't seem to know the rules yet Prob find high HC players who know every rule in the book

Not sure why buy the slope when it can't be used in comps - seems a waste

Isn't there a way to disable the Slope bit to render it conforming?
Not that I'm going to buy him that one!

I'm not sure but even if there was you still couldn't use IT I thibk
