Yes I have too much time and this is something that interests me.

Would be helpful for those that do Aimpoint.
Would only be able to use it in a practice round though but you can also just plonk your phone down during a practice round as well. I guess the Bluetooth and app is useful for those that want to map their greens.
Doubt I’d get one though, seems like too much work.
That sounds like Aimpoint. To read a putt you would need to lay the device down multiple times all along the line of the putt.
To map a green would need 100+ readings and I guess that would take several hours.
Yep, why I said it seems like a lot of work.To read a putt you would need to lay the device down multiple times all along the line of the putt.

Yes, exactly. though to be fair, the Tour Read app also mentioned above, seems to do all that for you, and averages a couple readings over the length of a putt. Does look like a handy device to test your green reading, having watched the video, but dont think Ill be shelling out £100 for a year's subscription!Let me just check that I have got this right. The device tells you the break in degrees and then what? You need to know the exact stimp, length of grass, length of putt, speed of putt and wind speed/direction. You can then do the maths to work out exactly where you need to hit the ball and at what speed - to miss centre of the putter face and leave it short anyway![]()
