Wish ours had been called off...
Quite honestly I don't know how both teams managed to play a game in those conditions. The rain was relentless and horizontal, one of the corner flags was blown so much it nearly touched the ground, the pitch was getting water logged and we, the fans moaned about Mis placed passes etc .
I'm glad I was high in the stand in the dry!
Chris, I am in the front row with me boy. Got absolutely ****** upon! Second time in a row, after the Newcastle game which was just as bad. We watched most of the second half on the tele under cover.
I don't know if you noticed Kayla (the bald eagle) was blown over 'the Arfur' and towards Upper Norwood. Got her back though I understand.
COYP:thup:
I feel for you Matty, I was at both games and the walk to and from the car was bad enough
I saw the eagle on the roof, It couldn't take off and then eventually got blown off the roof. Yes, they went round the back of the stand to get him - all ended well!
Next game At home is Stoke and I hope Crouch is playing for us by then!
I just want to watch a game in the dry but we do need some one up top. Apparently we have the best defense in the league over the last 10 games! :whoo:
