Anyone ever sent a putter back to scotty

No but thanks to you I now own a Scotty :D and so hope never have to. Played first round with it today!

Whats up with it Tone?

Had it made shorter and the pro that did it said the head needed more weight in it to keep it balanced, now just dont seem the same.So thinking of sending back to Scotty, cant seem to get anyone to do the work on it :D

Have you tried emailing them?

What model is yours? Does it have the weights in the bottom?

No not tried e mailing yet, just wondering if anyone has sent one back,Dont wont to be without a putter for too long, just after i have sold all my others on.Model is the Pro Platinum Newport Two so no weights tony

The pro who said it needed more weight for a shorter shaft was correct, but may not have added the weight correctly. What sort of putter is it?

If you wanted some custom work done, it may be worth sending to SC, but just to restore the weight to normal will cost. If you are going to do so, you should consider making it worth your while with some new stamps, some new colours, your initials, a nice new grip and custom shop headcover.

is the weighting different for a putter than for any other club? I believe that for an iron it's 2g added for every 1/2 inch off.

just how much was trimmed?

Cameron sets the standard weight/lengths as 35"/330g, 34"/340g, 33"/350g, so it is about 10g per inch. I assume the pro cut length off the butt end?
