Anyone else struggle?

Which bit of my last sentence in the OP "its great to be out and playing" are you struggling with or was it the "not getting too stressed and putting it down to one of those things" that threw you.

Thats fine but you said you where missing right when its usually left and bad timing...all i am saying is no one has played much recently so everybodys games are going to be a little off colour and perhaps you should enjoy the chance of getting a game.

I shall continue to struggle through reading your posts and hope they dont throw me again ;)

Playing 9 tomorrow, not realy swung a club in ager for weeks so I think i'm going to tee off with a putter :)

New to golf...hit the driving range today 120 balls...was happy with how it went...used my "new 2nd hand" 10d BB for 1st time(£24 on e-bay :))..and got the height and distance was hoping for.Have come down 3 degrees in driver loft in 5/6 months so well pleased with that.

Played my first 18 holes for about a month, and did do as badly as I thought it was gonna be after triple bogeying the first I ended up having a decent round.
Had a average front 9 shotting level with my handicap, but then had a very good back 9 when everything came good :) fairly happy tbh :D

I'm playing tomorrow and I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I've been driving the wife mad!!!

I'm itching to get out there...

I think I'm addicted...

Does this sound like an addiction???

Got out around my 9 hole home course for the first time in a month. Scored 19 Stableford points and exact same stroke count as my last round. A few duffed and sliced but some very pleasing approach and fairway wood shots.

I may take more 4 week breaks if my game stays like this :-) (Or maybe not!!)

I've been playing poorly for 8 years a bit of snow and wet weather isn't going to change it! No really driver working better than ever but irons are very erratic hard to get much sort of flight on them.

Played yesturday which was the first time on the course since my November medal, and the last balls I hit was a lesson mid November.

On the practice green I thought I'd have a few chips with the new wedges and everything felt strange, at that point I was convinced I was in for an adventure lol. Off the first I sprayed one right up our 18th, second shot was a mint 4h that was slightly righter than I wanted (miss aligned) after a mid iron, chip and 3 put scrambled a 7 on a par 5, onto the 2nd and things started getting on quite well.

Good points:

Iron play was fantastic, lesson in November paid off

Tee shots were great

Hit all 5 of our par 3's

3 of them were inside 10 ft
Enjoyed just being back out.
Still come in with 32 points off the whites

Bad points:
Should have hit the range with new wedges first as my wedges and putting let me down
