I'm about 6 miles north of Leicester. I'm always happy to meet up for a game.

There's another 3 or 4 on here from Leicester-ish. Not sure about Northampton but I think there's also a few from around Milton Keynes area.

I've never played it but would be happy to. Only about a 20 minute drive for me but would have to be a weekend.

Maybe we could get a couple of others interested too?

Also living in Leicestershire I'd be up for this in a few weeks time, by when I'll have been well and truly knocked out of the Winter League and it would also give fundy time to recover, but would prefer a different course, isn't Enderby a 9 holer?

Very nearby and at a reasonable rate is Whetstone Golf Club, where I first picked up a club in anger I'm not prepared to say how many years ago. It would be nice to play there again and see how it's changed, it was a 9 holer way back then.

I do not mind which course, I am working on moving the the area so will be nice to get to know it better let me know what dates are good for you, I work shifts so only around 3 weekends out of every 5
