any 'Game Golf' users on here?

nowt wrong with a bit of tech Adey, you turning into a miserable sod since moving over there? ;)

If I am, it is only because I am missing you Gibbo...😘

I'm not knocking it, well maybe I am. But I just do not see what it is going to tell me that I do not already know. I know as accurately as any club golfer how far I hit each club, I know if I hit a drive OOB it is more that likely to the left as I do not miss many fairways to the right. If I miss a green with a mid/short iron it tends to be short and right as I get a little bit too steep in my down swing and take too much turf.

I have it and think the info it gives is really helpful. I don't use it all the time as I had been going through a dreadful time where I didn't need my computer to tell me where I was going wrong, also we play a fair bit of 4bbb and my stats can change given the need to play more ambitious shots in certain circumstances so I do pick and choose when I use it.

I am impressed with the concept and also aware of its bad points but information like, how and where I hit on average with a wedge from inside 100 yards, and now know that I miss the pin left 60% more than right on greens hit and I come up short of the pin when hitting greens a lot more than long, although at my place that is often the best ploy . It does clearly take a fair few rounds for the stats to be meaningful as they will iron out variations, but it is still easily gathered and helpful info which I'm sure will help my game in the long run.

There will be other such devices coming along as Game Golf has become pretty popular but they do seem to listen to their customers and I think software improvements are always likely, I see prices falling for these sort of things in time but as I bought mine secondhand on the forum I'm very happy to keep on with it

I wish I'd used mine today, I went round 18 holes in about 40 shots!

Mind, it was foursomes and we shot 1 under (nett)
