Any disadvantage to getting a golf bag with the club locking systems?

Takes a little more time pushing a club into a locking slot than just dropping it into a full-length divider, I would guess.

I don't mind iron chatter, though.
My clubs don't stay new looking very long--it's not a priority.

big advantage, no iron chatter

big disadvantage (form e anyway), heavier due to the locking system

had (still have somewhere) an Ogio Silencer, stopped using it just because of the weight issue. shame, it was a thing of beauty, grey camo

Would you consider selling your Ogio Silencer? in the market for one to try (y)

I had a Bennington bag with this style top, does make it quick and easy to find the right iron (not that it's difficult with a normal bag). Another small advantage is although I've never lost a club I know people who have and it would be noticeable right away with these bags. There are a bit heavy but they are on a trolley anyway so not a big problem.
