Have a thought for the poor guys picking up all those balls and repairing the pitch mark. A heat map would be fun to see. Did he ever actually miss the green?

I guess when he puts it close in a round the swearing will be replaced by cheers, so not a problem in a real golf round.

Its great when he goes running off the tee at the end to celebrate.

I hope they escorted him from the course with such a terrible display of golf etiquette ;)

Great vid. Thanks for posting!

He had hair before he started!

He's looked a star, but a 'great bloke' all his career - saw him play Wentworth West when he was still an amateur (the year he played Walker Cup at RA). He doesn't seem to have changed approach much!

Met him a a couple of times, and he is a good laugh. Holds our course record with a 60 so can play a bit !

At The Grove in the British Masters his two playing partners hit irons down the first hole. He wanted to cut the corner and go for the green so waited on the tee, chatting to anyone that would listen. Finally after about ten minutes the green cleared and he then put his driver away and got an iron out ! Of course he got the driver back out and hit it to about 20 feet of the pin.

Imagine when he goes home he plays with his mates for fun, which a lot of pros don’t seem to be able to do. He also plays very quickly, and is not too impressed with slow pros !!

hahaha, what would you call it then, a hole in 230 perhaps.

I guess in a medal it would go down as 459; 229 unplayables with stroke and distance. And quite a big queue behind him on the tee! ;)
Quite.
I played with someone who missed a green by about 6 yards (ie it happened to go over the boundary fence). He re-teed and put the next one straight in the hole. Much as he/we wanted it to be, it was not a hole in one. Hence my thought about 230 or so goes at doing it.

He played Kedleston the other day, put a nice little picture on his Twitter.

I’d add a link, but don’t know how 😁

One thinks one is taking things to seriously, one suggests you watch the video again and just enjoy it for what it is. (y)

It’s only words.

Bleeped words at that.

Cracking video, the ET constantly deliver superb content, they do such a good job. Interesting to see the number of PGA Tour players praising the video and the ET's content (JT and Finau to name a couple), just makes you wonder why the PGA Tour don't do something similar, the players clearly have an appetite for it so would be willing to give their time.
