When trying to access myMail on my Samsung A40 this message now pops up, " Terms & Privacy Policies Update"
We have recently informed you about the upcoming change of myMail app owner fromMy.comB>V to MGL MY.COM [ CYPRUS ] limited.
We are happy to announce that the day has come.
To continue using the application, please, confirm your acceptance of the following documents:
I agree with the end user license of MGL MY.COM Cyprus limited.
I confirm the transfer of my data fromMy.com B.V to MGL MY>COM Cyprus.

I'm a bit wary this is the first I've heard of it, should I just tick the boxes. ??
ATM I can't access my email from my phone.

Seems odd, but you probably just forgot that you received the earlier notification. The fact that there's a Russian company is a bit iffy in itself - especially these days.
If you have access to your email on a PC/Laptop, I'd strongly advise you back it up somehow - there are lots of ways - before agreeing to that request.

Yes I may have forgotten the earlier notification
I can access my Hotmail account alright on my laptop, the problem is just with the phone.

The key is 'who is the actual provider of the email service'. If it's all through Hotmail, then backup is easy enough, as is Gmail (from Google) and most others.
Just make sure you back (them all) up before accepting the request re ownership. It's probably 'all fine', but the consequences, if not, are too great to simply risk!
Btw. The reason it's 'just the phone' is because MGL/MyCom is a phone app (only).

hi- I have the same thing on my phone. We are looking into it- it appears that the company that owns MGL MY.COM , may be Russian. I am not going to tick the boxes until I look into it more!!!
