Q-School Graduate
Morning all! Sadly having to start this week off with a rant as I can only assume that the American Golf warehouse is being run by those who failed the McDonald’s exam and it’s so frustrating!
Placed an order on Thursday for a new hybrid (Adams Golf Idea a12 OS) and paid for delivery by 10:00am Friday as I thought I’d be able to have a thrash that afternoon then use it across the weekend. Anyway, 10:00am came and went and gave AG a call at 10:30am to get an update. Spoke to a particularly useless lady who didn’t have a clue what was going on but promised to ‘investigate’ and get back to be ASAP.
2:00pm arrive and I was starting to get the hump so called again and spoke to someone more helpful who rang the warehouse whilst I was on the phone. Turns out that whilst the order had been confirmed someone in the warehouse had forgotten to send it so it was still sat there waiting to go out…..brilliant!
So the guy I was speaking to was very apologetic and promised that it would go out for a Saturday delivery and they would refund the delivery charge. Not ideal as I wouldn’t have it for Saturday but at least they’re trying to help so what can you do. Get back from my round on Saturday (well in contention until the wheels fell spectacularly off across the last 5 holes) and there was the package sitting there. Pleased that I’ll get to use it on Sunday so open the package to see my new shiny toy!
Anyone care to guess what I found?!! They’d managed the Adams Idea hybrid part however it was an a7 OS and just to compound matters it’s used!!! Christ sake! Have been on the phone today and they are saying that they’ll have to check stock their end i.e. check that I’m not just trying it on and will let me know. Numpties the lot of them!
