We went 10 pin bowling yesterday afternoon. Me, wife, son and little grandson (age 6). Wifey was on rare form and she knew it and I could see she was ready to do a lap of honour, winning by a street. I was strangely rubbish. Needing a miracle at the end as wife was on 136 and me on 85 but with a strike in the bag on 9th i then went strike, strike, completing my first EVER TURKEY and finished with a two winning by....two.

I would have said no but I then I saw how this was trending on Twitter and the giant motorway poster you have put up on the M6 so yes - nice bowling!!

I'd have done the same, except I'm rubbish at bowling so it wouldn't have happened. When your wife does beat you she will know it's for real and so will mean more. As long as you are competitive and smiling, not competitive and snarling 😁

A couple of weeks ago Nanna and Grandson were locked into a mega game of monopoly.

She seemed to have lost her chance of winning, so decided, after over 3 hours of play, to try to lose.
No matter how hard she tried the dice fell for her and she ended up winning.

Exactly the reason I detest monopoly, 3 hours? If a game lasts that long then all players need to be in it to the end.

Great finish but be in no doubt she's locked this away mentally somewhere and revenge will be cold, calculating and painful (probably financially)

That's how best to describe the look on her face as I apologised and tried my best to comfort her, after punching the air and going oooo ooooo oooooo, after looking at the score board.
