Hi all,
While @Papas1982 was busy getting organised with Sonning, I revisited a discussion I had with the office at my club (Reading) back when Bearwood was unveiled as the host for H4H. It has taken a while for them to come back with a response but they are happy for us to play there at the weekend members guest rate of £40 per player from Midday onwards
Sonning is a lovely course, but this is a chance to play this 100+ year old James Braid course (although it is perhaps more a ‘Phillip Mackenzie Ross‘ course now) before it closes for good in March... it is in very good nick at the moment.
The club is not serving food at the moment, but they would reserve tables in as close proximity as they could for the group for a drink or 2 afterwards.
I’m sure we would all get on at Sonning, so am conscious of not splitting the group, but if anyone fancies playing at RGC on the Sunday put your name down below and I’ll get it organised.
