AliExpress

I’ve ordered a couple of bits from them and it’s fine, takes a couple of weeks to arrive but just factor that in so you’re not relying on a particular delivery date.
It’s worth noting, a lot of items on Amazon is stuff from Ali Express/Temu but with a massively hiked price tab.

Just because it says (insert manufacturer name here) doesn't mean it's real. Mass sellers of fake goods, so forget any warranty.

But, if youj're happy buying fake crap, fill your boots.

You’re not using Ali Express for genuine items lol, most stuff isn’t branded and you know exactly what you’re getting. I wouldn’t use it for expensive items but for cheap stuff, head covers, watch straps it’s perfectly fine. Like I said, most stuff from Ali Express is on Amazon anyway but much more expensive.

I have used it years ago, things like weights and headcovers for Scotty putters along with other cheap non branded things for gardening and the home, things you buy from cheap (pound) shops.

Prices have increased a lot recently, items you order will eventually turn up, queit long lead times.

My wife buys stuff all the time. Not golf mind but she is a sewer making handbags and AliExpress are fantastic for things like bag hardware....buckles, clips, studs, catches, logo'd badges etc etc.....shipping can be either near instantaneous or sometimes something will arrive and its like another birthday because she's forgotten what she ordered. Some of the stuff she buys comes with shipping costing only £1 to £2...just shows the sheer volume of stuff they are selling in order to ship it for such prices.

Dont think there is anything wrong with AliExpress...just need to find a seller(s) on the platform who delivers decent service and "quality" (its relative) goods in a timeline that is appropriate to your needs.

If it is all coming from China, how do you avoid customs duties, VAT, clearance fees etc? Or does it go to an Aliexpress hub in the UK first of all?

I disagree, but that's an old chestnut we don't need to go over.

If your watch pings off the strap and smashes, all that mega saving goes down the drain.

If anyone wants to buy crap and support the fake industry, get signed up and fill those meagre boots.

Ha ha, your anger at people buying relatively cheap goods is rather amusing 🤣

I always buy knock off West Ham shirts for my son from Aliexpress, wouldn’t be surprised if they are made in the same factory as the real ones!
Almost certainly.

People claiming goods are "knock offs" such as golf clubs should check where the "official" clubs' components are produced.

Some might think that they are purchasing US made clubs but most likely they are only assembled there using foreign made components.

There's no anger, I simply despise the fake market and everything that goes with it. If that includes buyers of said fakes, then fair enough. But hate is dragging it into a silly argumentative place. Usually the mugs who shop at Ali Express are a bit thick, so I tend to move on quickly.

And the old 'from the same factory' is also tosh, quoted to justify buying fakes. But, it it saves you a few quid, who cares eh?

This, from high end motorbike performance exhausts (RRP £2k, copy version £300) through to lab putters, the rip off everything!

The thing is though Beezerk mentioned buying watch straps etc. none of that was original branded stuff. It was cheap crap and he states that. It is not necessarily genuine knock offs. Although am sure they do sell that.
A Couple of years ago I bought a Hamilton watch. Just short of £400. The watch strap fell to bits in 9 months.I looked at buying another. £120 for a fabric rammel watch strap. They sent me another after I kicked off. So why would I not buy one for a few quid.

The watch strap wasn't clear to be fair, so yes, Ali Express for cheap stuff - no problem at all.

But, your post at least shows you received a replacement. I don't tend to kick off, but politely claim under the stated warranty - either approach is fine if it works for you.

I just don't think I could be ar$ed buying my bin bags from the other side of the world to save 50p a roll, but I let wifey take care of that and wouldn't know where it all comes from.

Just to clarify, I cannot stand copies or rip offs especially football shirts. The watch strap tripped me over the edge. And it was just a flippin watch strap. I loved that watch.I still have it but the strap is absolutely knackered. I cannot bring myself to put the new strap on as I know what will happen. It was sold as an everyday watch, but there’s not a cat in hells chance it is.

I ordered a Sheff Wed replica shirt from DH Gate the other day, I’m stuffed if I’m putting any money into the pockets of the clown who owns our club.
