Aldila RIP shafts

Have been recommened by the pro to try the Aldila rip shaft in my driver to try and keep the spin rate down, was just wandering if u guys (Ethan could recommend any other ones to try!? Thanks

RIP is certainly a low spin shaft, but there are a number of good low spin alternatives. Matrix HD6, Oban Devotion, Motore F1, Fuji Rombax 7Z08 or 6X07, Graf PL Red are all pretty good options and low spin and lowish launch. Adding weight or stiffness will also usually reduce spin further, so if a 65g version of a shaft is a certain spin, the 75g version of same is likely to be lower spin. .

What would u think about the Graphite Design Tour AD YSQst shaft!?

After a long time making very average shafts, GD has started to bring out a lot of very good shafts, including some pretty popular on Tour right now. I don't know much about this one, but like the others, if you are fitted into this by a specialist who knows what they are doing, should work well.
