Actors that make you shudder

Will Ferrell
Jim Carey
Adam Sandler (mostly but not always)
Jeff Goldblum
Elijah Wood
Whoopi goldberg
Rosie O' Donnell
Any WWE/WWF 'actor'
Seth Rogan
Mark Wahlberg

All grind my gears, any tips on how to un-see these people?

Off Topic here;

Vue have just opened a cinema in my town - do they have any sort of membership deals? The missus loves going so would be something to look at signing up for

I don't think they do at the moment but other chains do so it must only be a matter of time. If you register with them you get a code to use that gets you 1/3 off on Tuesdays. The big one though is Nectar points. Useless in most places but you can use them at Vue to get chunks off your tickets. If you haven't already got one then go online and look to see how you can build the points up. Lots of x 10 moments and bonus things that build them up. Really helps make the night cheaper.

We have a choice of cinemas within 20-30 mins but I have to say I like Vue the best. Probably helps that it is the newest as well.

Is that the one at Cramlington? Only been there once (Straight Outta Compton), thought it was a cracking cinema, much better than The Silverlink.

Tyneside Cinema is my favourite round here tho.

Yes Cramlington. Less busy than Silverlink, very new and comfortable, parking is easy. It's a long time since I have been to the Tyneside cinema but I'm pleased it is still going. It's good to have independents in a world of chain cinemas.

Julia Roberts - soon as I see she's in it I look elsewhere, dont know why, she's easy on the eye but just so wooden.

I understand the Hanks thing, he is a good actor but in too many films and doesn't change his appearance or accent ever it seems.

I don't understand this, he has played such a wide variety of characters.

Well compare him with say Gary Oldman or Tom Hardy or Michael Fassbender or Ed Norton or Philip Seymour Hoffman (RIP), when you watch those guys in films you rarely see the actor, just the character because they get so absorbed into the role in terms of appearance, movement, speech etc whereas Hanks is always the same looking, moving and speaking imo. Even when you listen to Woody from Toy Story (I have kids:p) its just Tom Hanks, too familiar or something.
