I've been playing about 9 months and am just about playing to what would be 28.

Could you not ask the pro at your club if he could fix you up with a game?

Already done - I can tag on to the club comps and get 3 cards signed that way - but TBH I was just looking for a slightly less stressful route for the first one. Only played with family and mates so far and wanted to ease myself in.
