Aaaaaarrrrrragggh Stroke

Played a stroke today - my typical comp I play well then the wheels fall off. But today was a different story. After 14 I was -7 then took 7 (par4) 5 (par3) and 7 (par 4) that was me done for ended up -1 nett, but more than 40 points so will get cut but the cut sjhould have been so much more.

On the flip side I played with a 'steady' 9 man who never broke 100, so I feel good.

That's why we have handicaps. Having an 18 hcap doesn't mean you bogey every hole it mean's you average 18 over par over the course of a round.

I played today and was 3 over for 13 and 4 over for the last 5 holes result played to my handicap. That's golf, the same reason that we don't always bogey the holes that corespond to our handicaps in the course Stroke Index.

Got 36 holes medal tomorrow and just hoping the first round is half decent so I've got an incentive for the afternoon. Nothing worse than playing with nothing on it to motivate. OK it would be good to shoot under my handicap in the second round but you know where I'm coming from. I wouldn't worry too much about the finish and focus on getting so close and how well you must have played the preceeding holes
