We're decorating our front room at the moment - for Christmas...tree and decorations not yet up.

All just about done - just three shelves from one of the alcoves to do second coat. Got them out so no painting to be done in front room. But Mrs is demanding that I get the shelves back in place before she dresses (?) the sofas with our new cushions and 'throws'.

"I'm not doing any painting in the room so the new cushions or throws won't get any paint on them!" I plead

"Doesn't matter" says she

"We're not putting the tree up until the room is completely finished and that includes the cushions and throws on the sofas - and they are not being put out until the shelves are back in the alcove - SO GET THEM DONE" Oh well
