Played 9 holes after work today to relieve a bit of related stress! Finished just as the light became unplayable and actually played one of the best 9 hole rounds I've ever played so I was very happy.

After hooking my tee shot and shanking the next one (think the pressure got to me because I knew I was on for a good score compared to my usual standard) the light wasn't really bright enough to see the ball flight but I knew where the green and flag were so I set up and took the shot.

I couldn't see the ball flight but I knew it was a nice shot because I just couldn't feel the ball hit the face at all so I must have pured it. Walked towards the green looking for my ball and found it as below. Decided to take an artsy picture to remind me of the good round!

(The camera makes it look a lot lighter than it actually is, not sure how that works but nevermind!)

Sadly not. I lipped out for a 6" bogey tap in which get me a gross 45, net 33, and a smile.

Goal for the year is to break 18 so a 45 over 9 holes means I'm going in the right direction; I was quite happy even though another par would have been nice (only had 2 during that 9) :)

Onwards and downwards! (score wise!)

good luck, I'm in same boat. Have hit 41 on both front and back 9 at my place. Unfortunately not at same time. 90 on 6 occasions. It will happen!

Nice! I can't wait to break 90 for the first time. I remember when I broke 100 for the first time still and that was a good feeling.

Me too. Finally had an excuse to go shopping. New clubs at 99 was my deal. New driver at 89, although heated and bought the sldr mini. Don't think I'll need a treat at 89 now.
