Managed 795miles from my £90 tank!!

This has been a fair bit, probably 600 miles, of motorway driving and the rest to and from work mainly but is by far and way the most I have managed from my Passat since I got it 18 months ago.

Is this good or does it just mean that I have been driving around like a fanny?!:mmm:

Don't baffle me with science,I know how to fill it up and pay for it but that's about it!;)

I'm getting well over 600 miles on my 75 quid fill-up - and that's with Learner Drivers revving the crap out of the poor thing......

Nearly 800 is top stuff Dodge.....

That is off the scale! Nice one.

I got 660 from my diesel last time around, not bad, but out of your league.

I get half that out of my Alfa.:( Mind you it normally just gets taken out for trips to my golf course, but it should get a decent run this weekend to Woodhall.

i have always kept my mpg tank to tank for the last 20 odd years for every car or van. i downsized my van last year got 55 mpg good for the berlingo. had to put roof bars on for pipe etc. done the mpg again, and cried and have never kept records since:eek:

I am green! I can get 900 miles from a 60litre tank of diesel! Efficient dynamics BMW 320d, lots of fuel saving gizmos and low tax! Add in a pitiful mileage allowance from work, means I have a great car for my needs!

Sorry, I read the thread title and thought ""thats a fair swap given the trade in prices I 've been quoted"

remember you can claim the govt difference from your employer's rate up to 40ppm on your tax return:thup:

I get 22mpg, desperatley looking for a saloon as per another thread, looking at a few this weekend

I generally put about £67 a week into my diesel Leon and get around 570 miles with a few to spare, approx 56 MPG. This is nearly double what I used to get in my Saab.
