Hello,

I'm new to the site and was just wondering if I could invite you all to a new start up website?

I won't post the URL unless it is an acceptable thing to do. I don't think it'll be treading on any toes, it's just to develop a golfing community.

Please let me know if posting the URL would be welcomed?

Kind regards

Thank you Pooh-Bah,

So a few friends and I have *only just* started a website which is going to develop over time. This development will take shape through the input from it's members.

For more info, please visit:

www.bluegrassgolf.co.uk

We would love everyone to come and have a look, be one of the first to join!

Thanks again

Sorry mate, im happy here. And not up for being a forum tart.

However, I reckon the BBC golf foum members would be up for joining a new one as they are always moaning about it.

What happens if you have a question about a set of clubs? do u have to post it in the "everything about woods", "everything about irons" and "everything about putters" forums?

Happy with GM my friend.

GM is the best you just need to stop a while and notice how many regular user there are

The other i use is golfWRX mainly for equipment details but its rubbish everyones off +2 and having a stock shaft in a club is a major discrace

I'm sorry not for me. As I produce the forum pages for the GM magazine each month (my efforts lovingly brought into life by the GM staff) my loyalty is firmly in this camp.

However I did take the time to look at your site and if I was going to make one criticism there are way too many threads and you'll find that the topics get to fragmented. Take a look at Todays Golfer who have a similar problem.

I wish you luck with your project and hope you stick around in the best forum on the web as well as your own.

Dont knock it, i bought a full set of clubs, Howson Hunters (stop laughing at the back) when i first started playing about 3 years ago. £99 off ebay for driver, 3 & 5 woods and 3-SW and they were brand new!!!

You can guess how good they were? :D

What, who buys a 'set of clubs'? Surely you buy your irons, woods and putters seperately?!? Unless you shop at Argos?

Sam , if someone is new to the sport and is unsure as to whether they'll take to it , buying a complete set of clubs as a beginner is a good way into it. There are some very good 'starter' sets out there.....Wilson do some good ones for a newbie.
